My name is Ben Horsley. I am a Creative Director from the UK working with a rich variety of clients from mature startups to enterprise brands in media, tech, travel, retail, and finance.

For over 10 years I have produced design, marketing and comms for global clients including Estèe Lauder, BBC, Emirates, Cathay Pacific, Vodafone, Sky, DHL, American Express, Starbucks, ITV, Sainsbury’s, Taylor Herring, Lloyds, Arcadia Group, and many more.

Leading busy, award-winning (and award-losing) studios of likeminded digital professionals, I strive to produce first-class work across disruptive and traditional channels. As a leader, I build, motivate, and inspire brilliant teams to produce unique, head-turning work.

User Experience

That’s right, I count every single one. From my very first freelance job (a photoshoot with a goth band in a wet Farnborough underpass) to my most recent (flying to Bonn, Germany to roll out DHL’s global Great Place to Work campaign).

Like tears in rain

I’ve worked client-side, agency-side, integrated, and freelance. I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe.

To fly, to serve

British Airways said that, and I’ll say it too. My job has taken me from LA to Hong Kong and many places between.

Power to the people

As much a I love being at the coalface, much of my work involves leading brilliant teams and individuals.

Little black book

Actually, it’s grey, and not so little. Over the years I’ve built a brilliant contact list of need-to-know creative specialists.

“Ben's delivered some outstanding work for us over the years, from brand identities to numerous creatives used for PR and experiential campaigns. Couldn't recommend him more highly.”

James Herring, Owner & Managing PartnerTaylor Herring

“Ben's expertise, attitude and drive make him an absolute pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond providing service and support. Our increased metrics are testament to his work.”

Sam Reynolds, Digital Marketing ControllerSky

“Ben has produced music artwork, ads, posters—physical & digital—plus much more for me, and I can't recommend him highly enough. A brilliant, inspiring, top-of-the-range creative director.”

Adam Kay, Writer & ProducerBBC

“I've hired my fair share of creative professionals, but rarely do they live up to those two words. Ben is clearly one of them, delivering consistent high-quality solutions at an impressive pace.”

Matthew Carrozo, Director of BrandUnbabel

“Ben’s speciality is his creative skill in design, editing and branding. He's a pleasure to work with – professional, completed before deadline, and excellent communication throughout.”
